A framed certificate appointing Alto Flora Yvonne McPherson as the Wingham Justice of the Peace. It reads: Elizabeth the Second, by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom, Canada and Her other Realms and Territories Queen, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith / To Alto Flora Ivonne McPherson of the Town of Wingham, in the County of Huron / Greeting / Know you that having special trust and confidence in your Loyalty Integrity and Ability and in pursuance of the provisions and by the authority of the Statute in that behalf made and enacted. We have appointed and do hereby appoint you the said Alto Flora Yvonne McPherson Yvonne to be a Justice of the Peace in and for Our Province of Ontario, hereby associating you for that purpose with Our Justices of the Peace already appointed in and for our said Province To have, hold, occupy, possess and enjoy the said office during Our pleasure with all and singular the rights, powers and privileges thereunto belonging or appertaining. / In Testimony whereof He have caused these Our Letters to be made Patent and the Great Seal of Our Province of Ontario to be hereinto affirmed / Witness: By Command The Honourable John Keiller Mackay /A Companion of Our Distinguished Service Order, upon whom has been conferred Our Volunteer Officers' Decoration, a Lieutenant-Colonel in Our Canadian Army Supplementary Reserve, Doctor of Laws,/ Lieutenant-Governor of Our Province of Ontario /at Our City of Toronto in Our said Province this fourth day of October in the year of Our Lord one thousand nine hundred sixty one and in the tenth year of Our Reign./ By Command *Signature*, unreadable Provincial Secretary |
