Glass quarter pint bottle from the Foxton Dairy in Wingham. The front has the dairy name, along with a cartoon bottle with the caption: "That's my home, please send me back while empty". A bottle family leans out a window to the left of the text. On the back is text reading "Drink our Golden Guernsey Milk for Health". |

Foxton Dairy Operated in Wingham between 1934 to 1961 and was well-known for its ice cream and lunches, operating out of 289 Josephine Street. It was sold in 1963 and renamed to Sunrise Dairy. The Sunrise Dairy operated from 1934 to 1998 and was the last small independent dairy to operate in Ontario. |
