A medal for The Canadian Authors Association 1997 Jubilee Award for Short Stories. It is silver with a stylized depiction of an Owl with spread wings. Bordering the owl is text reading: "CANADIAN AUTHORS ASSOCIATION JUBILEE AWARD." It has a makers mark on the bottom edge reading ".8999+ silver". The reverse has text engraved into the metal which reads: "SHORT STORY COLLECTION / 1997 / Alice Munro". |

The Canadian Authors Association's Jubilee Award for Short Stories was presented to Alice Munro in 1997. This was the inaugural award and it has not been awarded since. |
